Lyssy Line sold to Systech Instruments Ltd.
Systech Instruments Ltd. acquires the permeation activities from PBI-Dansensor A/S Ringsted, Denmark, June 11, 2010 Today, PBI-Dansensor A/S has announced that the company is divesting their permeability product line, the ‘Lyssy permeability testers’. The product line has been sold to the UK based company Systech Instruments who are already a major player within the permeability segment.

This acquisition will continue to build upon Systech’s position as a global supplier of permeation instruments for the food barrier plastics and pharmaceuticals market place as we continue to expand our innovative offerings. These products broaden the company’s portfolio of scientific instruments enabling Systech to respond to a globalising customer base, especially in the high growth nonwovens and gas permeability application segments.”

Our strategy focus is to be a leading supplier of quality assurance equipment for food manufacturers involved in modified atmosphere packaging and we have therefore decided to divest the permeability product range”. Furthermore, Jesper Bilde says “We are happy to announce the new owners as Systech Instruments, as we know that with their existing expertise in the permeability field they will be able to support the worldwide base of Lyssy customers.”
Effective from June 11, 2010 Systech Instruments will be handling all enquires regarding the Lyssy product line (L80, L100 and OPT) as well as the new package oxygen permeation tester PermMate.
